Mission Trips

A.C.T. has a goal of helping each student to establish a global world view of Christianity and a deep concern for our brothers and sisters in Christ in other countries. We also stress the importance of sharing the gospel to all nations. So to help accomplish that goal, we have three different mission trips each year.
Trips vary from year to year, but over spring break we usually go to New England. We have done a lot of things while in New England such as dramas at Harvard Square, shoveling snow for people as a gift of love, prayer walking around the city of Boston and several college campuses including Harvard, and spending time at U-Mass helping college students come to know Jesus.
In the summer after school ends, we travel outside of the country. This past summer, we went to Haiti twice. On the second trip, we held a basketball camp for teen-aged boys. This two week trip is always a life changing experience. We spend a lot of time sharing the gospel and working on service projects.
Active Christians Today also has alums working in Haiti, China, England, Malaysia, Taiwan, and in congregations around the U.S. as Ministers, Sunday School Teachers, Church Leaders and Youth Sponsors.
